Salary Range: $44,127 - $56,938 annually. Compensation will be commensurate upon experience and qualifications. This position is Exempt from the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) overtime provisions.

Work Location: The work location for this position is hybrid.

Summary

The College of Engineering and Applied Science (EAS) Online Graduate Programs offers professional master's degrees and graduate certificates for Engineers and Technical Professionals. The Online Programs Coordinator manages the daily operations of EAS online programs including: student and faculty support, program data creation and analysis, marketing, course offerings and maintenance, student admissions, and program assessment.

Essential Functions

The duties and responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:
  • Provide end-to-end student support. Process and evaluate new applications, recommend admissions decisions based on program criteria, conduct and maintain student plans of study, serve as point of contact for student inquires and issues, and handle all communications to and from students and faculty.
  • Recommend and schedule course offerings each semester based on enrollments and student needs. Assist with logistics of special course offerings. Process and maintain records related to new programs, courses, and curriculum changes. Set up and manage online courses.
  • Create and maintain program data and records including: student files, student progress, course files and updates, enrollment, course questionnaires, and assessment.
  • Assist with program marketing. Develop advertising materials Keep program website updated. Research and compile information on competitor program information.
  • Provide enrollment data and final grade submission information to lecturers for all program courses and ensure final grades are submitted correctly and on-time.
  • Coordinate with college HR to hire and pay lecturers each semester.
  • Facilitate university and program assessment activities.
  • Recommend actions or resolutions based on college and campus policies.
  • Represent the program and Graduate Executive meetings

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications

Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
  • Experience: At least two years of administrative experience

Preferred Qualifications
  • At least two years of experience in Higher Educations
  • At least two years of experience with online education

Physical Requirements

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to sit, stand and move. Tasks may involve using a computer screen continuously for long periods of time. Tasks may also involve frequent participation in school environments and with middle school aged youth, undergraduate and graduate students. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
